I had the pleasure of illustrating The New Yorker’s theatre review of two psychologically intense Off-Broadway productions: Sexual Misconduct of the Middle Classes by Hannah Moscovitch and Jen Silverman’s new adaptation of Strindberg’s Creditors.
Both plays explore power, desire, and manipulation within intimate relationships—stripped down in staging but loaded with emotional complexity. The cast includes Hugh Jackman, Liev Schreiber, Ella Beatty, Maggie Siff, and Justice Smith.
